Keep Your Teen’s Health on Track

Adolescent Medical Care from Bee Home Pediatrics in Salt Lake City

A doctor for teens shouldn’t just address their physical health through school and sports physicals, routine preventative care, and sick visits, but treat their emotional and mental health as well. The hormonal changes and rapid growth your teen is facing right now can be difficult for even the most confident adolescent to deal with.

Your teen needs a strong support system now more than ever—someone who listens to their concerns with an open mind free from judgment and treats them with the respect, kindness, and dignity every kid deserves. When teens know they have an advocate on their side, they’re more likely to ask for help and use the information provided to take greater control of their health as they head into adulthood.

As a pediatrician for teens, Dr. Margie Diaz-Ochu of Bee Home Pediatrics gives every teen a voice in their care and empowers them with the knowledge needed to make smarter lifestyle choices and avoid risky behaviors.

Kindness-Driven, Direct-Care Teen Wellness Programs

Teens are busier than ever today, and fitting in check-ups in on their schedules only gets harder in their high school years. With Bee Home Pediatrics’ direct-pay, membership-based model, your family can enroll to ensure your teen gets the care they need the moment the need it. Plus, Dr. Diaz-Ochu spends as much time as possible with your teen to best understand the family dynamics, social situations, and school stressors that can impact their overall health and well-being.
Plus, every teen enrolled can take part in our “Walk with Dr. Ochu” program. Once a year, they’ll enjoy a one-on-one walk through their neighborhood with Dr. Ochu where they can feel safe to open up to a doctor they trust and experience the benefits of exercise in the great outdoors.
